Course 1 – Challenge Math for Elementary Students -Level I 

This course is designed for students in grades 2-4, who seek learning more challenging mathematics content than they typically encountered in their math classroom, and who would like to build up a solid problem-solving foundation for future math competitions. The content will be organized to emphasize on the proper implementation of the Common core mathematic standards, focusing on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and real-world applications to inspire students to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics. Brain-teasing patterns, sequences, and puzzles with numbers, shapes and figures, number sense and speed math skills and some mathematic contest (Math Kangaroo, Math League, and others) level problems are included. This course will not only enhance students understanding of mathematical concepts but will also inspire students’ interest in mathematic through solving challenging questions of varying levels of difficulty and type.

Course 2 – Challenge Math for Elementary Students -Level II  

This course is designed for students in grades 5-6, who seek learning more challenging mathematics content than they typically encountered in their math classroom, and who would like to build up a solid problem-solving foundation for future math competitions.  The content will be organized to emphasize on the proper implementation of the Common core mathematic standards, focusing on conceptual understanding, problem solving, and real-world applications to inspire students to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of mathematics.  Brain-teasing patterns, sequences, and puzzles with numbers, shapes and figures, number sense and speed math skills and some mathematic contest (Math Kangaroo, Math League, AMC8 and others) level problems involving fraction, decimal, percent, ratio and probability, data analysis, algebra, and Geometry are included. This course will lead the students to take the challenge! – Not only deepens students understanding of mathematical concepts, but also inspire students’ interest through solving challenging and thought-provoking problems.

 SAT  Preparation Course

Course Description – To help prepare for the March, May, and June 2025 Digital Exams, this course is designed to optimize your study experience by offering a dynamic blend of interactive lessons, practice exams, and personalized feedback. I will guide you through the SAT Reading and Writing portions, and with assigned weekly homework, you can study at your own pace and utilize my resources in our Google Classroom. We will analyze our testing results during the course and delve into ALL the nuance reasoning behind the correct and wrong answers.  I will use my personal varied texts and SAT vocabulary lists including the public and free use of Khan Academy, NoRedInk, and College Board materials. This comprehensive course provides individualized and group instruction to tailor students’ needs and improve test scores. All materials will be stored in our Google Classroom, and students can utilize them until the end of the year.

Course Tuition – $720.00

Target Audience: The Digital SAT course is created for new to intermediate-experience SAT students – participating during class is required with the camera on. If you only want access to the resources and do not join the weekly class, you may obtain access for an alternate fee.
