Course 1 – Challenge Math for Elementary Students -Level I

This course is designed for students (2nd – 4th Graders) who have basic knowledge of arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and some knowledge of fractions. The following concepts and skills will be studied in this course: 1.  Number sense and mental math/speed math training.  2. Multi-digit number operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and mixed operation rules.  3.  Fractions and fraction operations. 4. decimals, percent, and ratio.  5. Data organization and graphs.  6.  Geometric shapes and patterns.  7. Length, area,  time, mass, and volume. This course will not only enhance students understanding of mathematical concepts but will also stimulate students’ interest in math through solving challenging questions of varying levels of difficulty and type.

Course 2 – Challenge Math for Elementary Students -Level II

This course is designed for 5th – 6th Graders.  The following concepts and skills will be learnt by students in this course, including number sense and number patterns;  number operations; proper fractions, improper fractions and fraction operations; decimals, percent, and ratio and probability; data organization and graphs; Geometry; real world math problem solving strategies. This course will lead the students to take the challenge! – not only deepens students understanding of mathematical concepts, but also stimulates students’ interest through solving challenging and thought-provoking problems.

Course 3 – Algebra I

This course is recommended for 6th to 7th graders who have mastered pre-algebra topics. In this algebra I course, students will be introduced to variables, algebraic expressions, linear equations, functions, polynomial factoring, and inequalities.  Students will also develop the ability to explore and solve real-world application problems. This course lays the foundation for students to take subsequent mathematics courses.

Course 4 – Algebra 2B

Course description: T is the second part of the sequential course of Algebra 2, which is often called Algebra 2B. The primary goal of this course is to increase the ability of the students for mastering the core of Algebra 2 and to enhance their skills in solving 2 the difficult problems in Algebra 2. The course will actively engage students in a positive learning experience, in which there is increased appreciation and understanding of mathematics. The course curriculum is structured around the Common Core Standards through Algebra 2 textbook.

Course 5 – Precalculus A

Precalculus is designed to prepare you to take and succeed in an AP or college Calculus course. The study of Precalculus and Calculus will be a foundation for your further study and in various fields such as medicine, pharmaceutical engineering, forensic sciences, economics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and computer software engineering just to name a few. This online course covers the Fundamental Precalculus for high school, often called Precalculus A. The primary goal of this course is to increase the ability of the students for mastering the core of Precalculus and to enhance their skills in solving the difficult problems in Precalculus. The course will actively engage students in a positive learning experience, in which there is increased appreciation and understanding of mathematics.
