College Application Packages for Graduating Seniors

Many students and their families are interested in assistance in university applications. Ivy Climbers is very familiar with the range of universities and the different applications and admission procedures at these schools. We assist and advise the students and their families in researching and selecting universities and in successfully applying to these institutions.

This process begins with a consultation with the student and their family to determine their goals and objectives. Then we develop a personalized plan to assist and support the student in choosing appropriate schools and to prepare the student for successful admission to the schools of their choice.

Our services include:

  • University research and recommendations to determine those institutions which provide the best “fit” for each student.
  • Management and recommendations on standardized testing, including SAT, ACT & Advanced Placement (AP) testing.
  • Interview Training – There is an initial assessment, followed by a series of practice and training sessions with the student to prepare them for successful interviews.
  • Essay planning and editing – Essay planning and editing consists of an initial assessment with the student and family, followed by submissions of drafts of essays from the student. These drafts will be reviewed and discussed with the student and edited to a final form over multiple drafts. Due to the critical nature of essays in the admissions process, it is highly recommended to begin this process a minimum of three months in advance of the application
  • Selecting the appropriate teachers and counselors to write letters of recommendation
  • Create a schedule for the application process, with regular meetings during the application period to review progress and ensure applications are on time.
