Location: Classes will be taught online via ZOOM. Students will receive the ZOOM login information after registration and before classes begin.

Dates: 1/10, 24, 31, 2/7, 14, 28, 3/7, 21, 28, 4/ 4, 11, 25, 5/ 2, 9

Course Description: AP Physics 1, Part 2 will focus on the remainder of the AP Physics 1 curriculum, along with additional topics. Areas covered include simple harmonic oscillations, torque and rotation, fluids, and thermodynamics.

This class is for students with a basic understanding of linear motion, Newtonian mechanics, energy, and momentum. In addition, students should have a mathematics background consisting of knowledge of algebra, geometry, and use of the unit circle, sine, cosine and tangent. This course is for students in grade 9-11, and also for middle school students with the necessary background and knowledge of mathematics. Knowledge of calculus is not required.
