Math for Gifted Elementary Students – Level 1
This course is recommended for rising 3rd and 4th graders who have mastered all four basic math operations. Students will be learning in a fun and encouraging environment to help them develop an interest in math. In this course, students will be exposed to topics including number patterns, fraction, percent, ratio, probability, distance/time/speed, and so on. The focus is to help students build up their problem-solving abilities.

Math for Gifted Elementary Students Level 2
This course is recommended for rising 5th to 6th graders who are solid on arithmetic skills. Students will be able to learn fundamentals in decimal, fraction, percent, scientific notation, and geometry, and work on challenging word problems. Additional topics include sequence, logic puzzles, probability, and so on. Problem-solving strategies and analytical reasoning will be emphasized.
Course material will be provided by the instructor.

Algebra 2
Model: Online ZOOM. Students will receive the ZOOM login information after registration and before classes begin.
Course description: The primary goal of this course is for the students, who will take Algebra 2 in next semester or want to enhance the knowledge of Algebra. Learning this course will greatly increase their ability to master the core of Algebra 2 and their skills to solve the difficult problems in Algebra. The course is to actively engage students in a positive learning experience in which there is increased appreciation and understanding of mathematics. The course curriculum is structured around the Common Core Standards through Algebra 2 textbook.

AMC 8/Mathcounts Course
This course teaches students mathematical concepts, problem solving strategies, and techniques that will prepare them for success in the Mathcounts and AMC 8 competitions. Students will be exposed to areas of mathematics not taught in the local public schools, such as elementary combinatorics, number theory and counting and probability. Studying these concepts and applying them in competitions greatly enhances students mathematical skills and builds a solid foundation of mathematical knowledge to apply in future studies in science, mathematics and engineering.

AMC 10 Competition Mathematics Class
The American Mathematics Competition (AMC) 10/12 is one of the most prestigious high school Math competitions in the USA and the world. This course prepares student for the AMC 10 examination through students mastering problem-solving techniques and skills for the AMC 10 in Algebra, Counting, Geometry, or Number Theory. The course will cover the whole contest curriculum.
